June Newsletter 2019

We had the privilege of doing another join project with our fellow ELCA congregation: San Juan Bautista Lutheran Church, on Tucson’s South Side. They hosted our second art show in November of 2015, and it was a joy to come back and do more painting. Citizen Klown painted another mural, this time on the front of the sanctuary.

It was a busy May, with our usual rhythm of Bible study, paint nights, and worship. In May we looked at the visions of the throne room of God from Revelation, sand songs, and shared in communion.

Monthly Bible Study is first Thursday at 7pm, and lately we’ve been looking at some of the parables in Luke. As usual, we have people from all over the spectrum of church backgrounds, some of us who have grown up with the Bible, others who are brand new to it, which makes for great insights, getting to see the scriptures through fresh eyes.
